SCN1A'yı hedefleyen antisens tedavi (zorevunersen) Faz 3 çalışmada; erken verilerde nöbet azalması ve gelişimsel kazanım bildirildi.
ASO tedavileri Faz 3'te
UBE3A'nın sessiz babadan gelen kopyasını yeniden açmayı amaçlayan antisens tedaviler (GTX-102, ION582) geç aşama çalışmalarda.
İlk ilaç + gen tedavisi
Trofinetid Rett için onaylı ilk ilaç; MECP2 gen tedavileri (TSHA-102, NGN-401) ruhsatlandırma çalışmalarında.
Erken tedavi seyri değiştiriyor
Nusinersen, risdiplam ve gen tedavisi (onasemnogene) ile erken başlanan tedavi sonuçları belirgin iyileştiriyor; yenidoğan taraması kritik.
Dizileme tanı oranını artırdı
Tüm ekzom/genom dizileme, açıklanamayan epilepsi ve gelişim geriliğinde tanı oranını belirgin yükseltti; hassas (kişiye özel) tedavinin kapısını açıyor.
Yeni antiepileptik seçenekler
Senobamat, fenfluramin, kannabidiol ve ganaksolon gibi yeni ilaçlar dirençli epilepsi ve Lennox-Gastaut'ta seçenekleri genişletiyor.
